Quick Post//A Picture and a Recipe

October 28, 2010

Hi Fabulous Readers!

This is going to be short and sweet because I am knee-deep in party prep for tomorrow night’s big bash!  I’ve already made 4 batches of cupcakes today–I hope they all come hungry!

Thought you might like to see a quick picture of Emily and her group from last night’s swim team Halloween party.  Aren’t they adorable?  They won the “Best Group Costume” award last night.  My job last night was to drive the group around on their big photo scavenger hunt.  I ran all over town with these cuties!  They made people grin everywhere we went.

I also wanted to share the recipe for the world’s easiest, most yummy pumpkin muffins:

These muffins are seriously good and take about 5 minutes to throw together.

Pumpkin Muffins

1 (18.25) yellow cake mix
1 (15 oz.) can of pumpkin puree
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper liners.  In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves until smooth.  Spoon equal amounts of batter into the prepared muffin cups.  Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted in the center of one comes out clean.

ENJOY!

I’ll be back tomorrow with pre-party pictures!

Have a happy day!

XO,

Vicki

I just have to know how Oscar sat down while you drove her all around town!

“Oscar” went can-less in the car. : ) It sat up front by me. She had a heck of a time wearing that while running through the mall!
