“They Have Rent-A-Shoes!”
I didn’t do a lot of bowling when I was growing up. In fact, I can’t really remember bowling until I was in high school, and then it was only once or twice. Needless-to-say, I am not even close to being mistaken for a pro-bowler. I think my lifetime best is a 68.
Well, until last weekend, that is. Last weekend I was on fire! I was a bowling goddess!
Of course, John beat me. But that doesn’t really count. Bowling was part of his childhood. He was on a league and everything. (Seriously. I didn’t find this out until after we married).
Jack actually beat me the first game, too. He’s pretty darn good.
Maddie and her friend, Lauren, played pretty well, too.
The kids and John spent the entire time making fun of my short pants and stylish shoes (What? I wore boots that day!)
But that’s okay. I thought I looked cute. And besides, nothing could bring me down that day. I rocked those short pants AND shot a lifetime best, 108! Woo-Hoo!
Fun times, fun times!
