I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, teacher, coach, swimmer, triathlete, book-lover, dog-owner, proud Democrat, University of Illinois graduate, Diet Coke addict (recovered!), mini-van driver (no longer!),crazy swim fan, lover of camping, baking, writing, paper, laughing, letters written by hand, antiquing, poking around in cute out-of-the-way towns, and having good conversations in quiet places. I dream of owning a cute cabin on a lake, living by the ocean, writing a book, teaching at a university, and driving a cool car. I am passionate, loyal and strong. I am proud to be a Christian and try to live my life accordingly.  I believe life is better when I can laugh at myself. I believe life is good, especially mine.
